Our Story
Dunes Egypt was born in 2011 out of a passion for sharing Egypt’s vast natural beauty and ancient history in new, unforgettable ways. The company was founded by Sherif Khalil, a travel industry veteran who spent 12 years working for one of the world’s leading travel companies.
During his tenure, Sherif specialized in managing VIP clientele and ensuring premium service as Quality Control Manager. He also introduced the Safari Glamping concept, building a unique department dedicated to luxury desert experiences.
Armed with this expertise, Sherif launched Dunes Egypt to focus on adventure and glamping tours—delivering high-quality, personalized journeys into Egypt’s wildest and most awe-inspiring landscapes.
As the company grew, so did its mission.
